Unimpressed. Cheesy breadsticks good, ordered Onion sticks; breading didn't stick, could have used an overnight buttermilk bath! Salad was good, green with a very garlicky, creamy garlic. Potato soup had an overwhelming sage taste. Not to our liking! And made the mistake of ordering by the slice. The whole pizzas all around us looks delicious, light flaky crusts. My homemade sausage had good flavor, but 1/2 of the slice didn't have any cheese. Crust was super chewy. We had great service to start, then waited 20 minutes with our uneaten pizza plates in our table for someone to process payment. First and only visit.

We stopped here on a recommendation that the pizza here was awesome. We arrived just before lunchtime so there wasn't a big crowd. We did get the last street spot though so be prepared to hunt for a spot as you approach the place. We were promptly seated and our waitress was quick to the table. We ordered two pizzas: Cheese and a Hawaiian (Pineapple and Ham). It wasn't too long before they came to the table. Being from St Louis they seemed to look like Imos pizza. I am NOT a fan of Imos. The crust was just as thin at the St Louis style but the ingredients were very good. I would have given it 4 stars or more if the pizza had a beefier crust. it was a good recommendation.

Outstanding food and ambience. Wait staff very friendly and professional. We didn't expect this place. About a mile or two from campus but worth the few minutes for this experience. This has become a regular stop for us when we are in town.

Love the pizza! As of late the service has been spot on. It's a regular stop for us. Others that complain about service and cook times are probably dining at the wrong restaurant. This isn't Little Caesars or Dominos everything is made from scratch. Very nice bar area, take your time enjoy yourself, it's not fast food..

Great pizza, traditional family recipe - best in Cedar Falls. The wait time can be a little ridiculous, so if you plan to have drinks, order early.

We go here now and then as over all the pizza as far as crust and sauce is good and I like the make your own salad though they up the price and the salad got smaller. My big thing is when ordering at least beef or sausage it is one small piece of sausage or maybe 1 1/2 pieces on each piece, you get one bite of it with meat and the other is cheese pizza. This has happened numerous times so I am assuming they are only to put that little bit of meat on. My spouse has his side covered in Canadian bacon. This really needs to change, a person would have a bite of meat or veggies in each bite. If I wanted cheese pizza I would order it, The service is a 3 usually but one night we had a guy who gave us almost a 4 in service. It was great.

Well done restoration in historical downtown CF. In fact the whole downtown area is a real jewel with many cool businesses. The outdoor beer garden in the rear of the building is one of the nicest places you'll find in Iowa for al fresco dining. The service is enthusiastic and attentive. The pizza is good too. Not rock your world awesome but worthy of the charactor of this fine facility. Lots of creative salads too. I would like to explore more of the menu but that will be another day.

The pizza is excellent, I could eat it all day whether thin crust or New York style. The chicken wings are amazing. I love them but the hot ones are a little too hot for my taste. The service is consistent and the workers are friendly. They have 3 different seating options: a restaurant side, bar side, and an outdoor patio. It is also good for watching sports as they have lots of TVs.

Gave this place another try today, only this time I tried their made to order lunch salad. Basically what you do is pick what type of lettuce you want, add 5 items to it and dressing, and they custom make it for you. MUCH better experience this time around!

Pizza is my life and Tony's LaPizzeria pizza was one of the best. a nice thin crust with plenty of cheese and great homemade sausage toppings. If you are in the area you need to stop by!

I would say Tony's is my favorite pizza in the area. It's also one of my favorite restaurants to go to because of the overall experience. Great beer selection, great pizza with any kind of fresh toppings you can think of, and great salads with any of those same toppings. Outdoor seating and a dimly lit bar that's lively at nighttime...what more can you ask for? I've had the 1lb mussels appetizer and those are delicious also.

Good Pizza if you don't mind waiting at least 45 to 90 minutes. Pizza - 4 stars - This is the closest to NY Style pizza you will find in NE Iowa. It's good. Service - 1 star / 2 stars - fugetaboutit! Don't get me wrong, the people are nice, it's just ..... Pizza takes at least 45 minutes and that is on a slow night. We went in one night and had to wait an hour and a half after ordering to get 1 NY style pizza (with 4 year old twins at the time - not exactly known for their patience). In Philly, no matter where you go or how crowded the joint, it takes 15 minutes. It's pizza, not a rump roast.. "Perhaps the laws of physics cease to exist on your stove." Vinny Gambini Atmosphere - 5 stars - Awesome. Top notch. Beer Selection (pizza and beer, right?) - 3 stars - good, better that the average bar. A nice selection outside of the big 3. We once "call ahead" reserved a table for 11. At the time they said no problem. When 4 of the 11 showed up, they said that the time starts "now" as in when they showed up and that they couldn't seat them until all 11 people showed up. Really? REALLY? Again, really like the pizza, the atmosphere, and the beer (four stars) - but the service and time it takes to get your food knocks it down to a 2 star joint, 3 at best (and that is being generous). I hope they get their service issues and pizza cooking time down, because if they did, we would go there more often than once or twice a year.

I ate here in june 2014 while staying at the black hawk hotel . It was a short walk and i just wandered in. I am glad i did. The service was so fast . I got a custom made salad and it was the best i've ever had.the pizza (i got meat lovers ) was on thin crust (my favorite) and the cheeses were melted perfectly. I also got a Shirley temple, the best i have ever drank. Ice cream is a must it is made near-by and delicious . If your looking for a deal get the ice cream brownie it's homemade ice cream AND a medium sized brownie. Their music is great. Get a circular booth in the darker of the two rooms . It makes for a great experience . They also do karaoke after ten . Highly recommended , I will return .

Very very good pizza. Sometimes it's too loud to enjoy conversation and wait staff can be slow. We've had multiple problems with our bills, but they're quick to correct. But still fun to hang out at, especially the back deck during the summer. That's a blast.

As far as pizza joints, Tonys was excellent. I called ahead and asked about bringing about 40 people. They got us all in the same area and the staff handled all orders and billing beautifully while remaining cheerful and helpful. Would have loved to sit at the bar for a few beers but we with a bunch of kids. Maybe next time. I did try two other pizza places that were less than enthusiastic about a big group dropping in.

I should preface this that I am not a native of Cedar Falls, nor am I a Pizza fan. So I have no hisotry with Tony or this pizza. So I ordered wings...but I did encourage my husband to order a large Pizza "just in case". WOW! After waiting nearly 40 minutes for the Pizza to arrive (and dying from the delicious smells) WOW!!! The Pizza, the Wings and everything was delicious. The waiter was charming and the entire location and the decor was inviting. I would have given this 5 stars if we hadn't been made to wait for sooooooo long!

I came here with some friends that were visiting town. Some people told me that they have a good pizza. The place look nice from outside. But, the services is very slow. The pizza is not great either and the restaurant is a bit expensive for what they serve.

Love their pizza and best bread sticks ever!! A little disappointed in our last visit. I think the waitress forgot to put in our pizza order because it took close to an hour and when it did come out it was way under cooked. There was only one other table in the place, it was a Tuesday at noon. I really love their create a salad!! Awesome toppings and always fresh!! I gotta go, I'm getting hungry!!

OK, after returning from many many years in California and traveling all over I have found an Oasis. I have spent over 30 years flying back and forth at least once a year to eat pizza at the only 2 places that I call "Thin Crust Pizza Heaven", "Balistreri's" in Wauwatosa, WI (Milwaukee) and "The Quonset" in Waukeegan Il. Now I can say that I can actually eat another pizza in the Midwest. I had dinner the other night with Family and we went to Tony's on the Parkade in Cedar Falls. The ambiance was striking, our server was marvelous, and the Pizza was OUTSTANDING. Congratulations, I will be at least a weekly or more diner. The description of your Italian Beef Sandwich sounds just like I am used to. I can not wait to return and try. I am so happy that I had to share the experience with all my friends around the globe. As my former Governator said........"I'LL BE BACK !"

This review is not intended on their pizza but poor service at lunch yesterday. I have been going to Tony's since I was in diapers. Been to it on the hill when it was a hole in the wall to the time it was a nightclub. I went to the shady Italian Mafia grotto seemingly themed one in Waterloo as well when I was a college student. Their pizza is wonderful, but yesterday the service was not. The place itself has a couple nice outdoor patios to sit at, a kind of room for families, and a bar area with 20 taps. My friend and I sat down and ordered our drinks from the hostest, who was also training a new waitress. Who would have thought anything could go wrong with two waitresses. So we ordered our drinks, garlic cheese bread, and a medium pizza. After ordering, we downed our drinks and waited about 15 minutes with empty glasses and no cheese bread. We flagged down the waitress at the table next to us and she went to get us drinks. Our waitresses finally came back several minutes later with lukewarm garlic cheese bread and our drinks. You could tell the cheese bread had been sitting there for a bit by the fact that it was both lukewarm and when pulling a part the pieces, the cheese did not have the usual stretch. Then within about 3 minutes our pizza was out on the table. What floored me about the pizza was the size of a medium was nearly identical to one order of the two pizza lunch special. My buddy and I were taken aback by this. A good waitress would have told the eater the better deal (when ordering a one topping medium pizza) at lunch was identical to the size of the two piece lunch special because it was $6 dollars cheaper. Talk about junk for service. The icing on the cake was the bill. The garlic cheese bread on the menu is $4.50. We were charged $5. When I went to dispute this, the worker stated that it was $5 because we had ranch with the bread. We didn't even ask for ranch. I took the high road and got out of there. Next time I am going for take out or delivery. Definitely not eating in!

This is a great atmosphere - perfect for a family meal out or a professional business meeting. We tend to dine here a few times each month. Every pizza we have tried has been awesome. Would give this 5 stars but I have one complaint. EVERY time we order delivery with salads, they arrive at our home and are a fraction of the size that they are in the restaurant. Really burns us after we have ordered online and waited an hour for the delivery. Fix this and Tony's is 5 star!

Very good restaurant on Main Street! The service leaves something to be desired and the wait for food is excessive. That being said the atmosphere is great and the food is incredible! We will be back and recommend this to friends.

The best pizza to be had in Cedar Falls! Tony's has a fun vibe and is a great place to start a night out on the town, but the best reason to stop here is for the outstanding pizzas.
